THINK ABOUT THEM BECAUSE THINKING IS NOT A SIN

Dressed in women’s outfit, a nose-pin on one nostril and with a delicate fading orange henna pattern on her hands, pink nail polish and colorful glass bracelets around her wrist. Standing on the signal, waiting for a car to come and ready to say “Bajji ALLAH TUMHE KHUSHIYAN DIKHAYE TUMHE MAKKAH MADINEY JAANE KI SAADAT NASEEB HOO”. They won’t have any problem that you only give them 1 rupee or 2 rupee they will take it happily. I know everyone knows about them I am talking about those people who face harsh realities of life day by day yet they don’t complain about anything but it doesn’t mean we forget about them before treating them badly. Talking about the most important people I want to say that transgender are just different, not abnormal. Transgender are normal human beings just like us, they should be treated just like any other men or women in our daily life we need to accept transgender for who they are.

There are communities of Tran’s genders in Pakistan who are living together dancing, singing and begging on the mean streets of Karachi. What do you think without education can you find a suitable job for yourself. Leave alone empathy or acceptance, most of them are denied education, jobs, houses to rent and other tools of empowerment. That is why there is so much of begging among them.

Most transgender are thrown out of their families, because their parents are unable to accept the transition. Among them whom are lucky find their ways how to live the tougher part of life. Others run away because they cannot bear violence, abuse and ridicule they are subjected to. I found some few lines written by a person about how he turns his gender saying “I was the eldest among my siblings and started working at an early age as a transgender since my father was not interested in supporting the family. He had a bad temper and used to beat my mother and the children at home”. So these are some of the pressures that these people had faced in early lives that change their minds their perceptions. If you treat them badly they curse you that is a threat but if you treat them in a good manner if you think that they are normal people they give you blessings towards happy and successful life.

So think about it why they can’t get that place in our society that level that is equal for everyone why they are abused on signals just because they have their own identity. But we don’t accept them as members of our society cause of our weird perceptions. Transgender are those people who come from our society they follow the same religion. While this may be difficult to comprehend in deeply religious cultures like ours, Transgenders were created the way they are by the Creator Himself. We simply do not have the right to treat them in any derogatory manner because of how they are positioned. .... Think about them because thinking is not a sin.
